Dr. Spiros D. Garbis, is the Founder, President and CEO/CTO of Proteas Bioanalytics. He studied Chemistry (BSc) and Pharmacognosy (PhD) at the University of Illinois.
He has over 30 years of industrial (Zellweger Analytics and NOW Foods), government Forensic Chemist (State of Illinois), and academic (Principle Investigator and Director of Proteome Exploration Laboratory, Caltech; Associate Professor, University of Southampton Medical School; Faculty member/Investigator, Biomedical Research Foundation – Academy of Athens) experience.
Dr. Garbis has over 85 publications and 10 patents related to Bioanalytical Chemistry research and development. Dr. Garbis’ innovative specimen procurement and nanotechnology lab chip devices that enhance Liquid Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry methods and protocols underpin the proprietary Proteas Bioanalytics platform.
